Perception and consequences of antisocial behaviour
Élisabeth Algava, Marilyne Bèque
A third of people claim to have experienced antisocial behaviour at some time during their life. In the majority of cases, it involves insults or jibes. Amongst the people on the receiving end of such behaviour, 39% believe that their life has been affected in some way, be it materially, professionally, psychologically or in their relationships. This type of behaviour rarely causes the perpetrators to reflect on their actions, even when they are illegal. Unlike others, they are unable to recognise what constitutes a stable personal life.
