Providing details about the productive system

There are many occasions when business information is needed: to provide details about the productive system, to monitor the economic outlook and to enable businesses to compare themselves with one another.

For these reasons, INSEE has put in place a very comprehensive system for conducting business surveys and for collecting structural and cyclical information and data on specific topics.

Several measures have been taken to reduce the response burden that these surveys represent for businesses.
