This new work from the “Insee Références” collection, Enterprises in France, provides the broadest possible view of our productive system. The objective is more structural than cyclical. Relying on individual data from enterprises, it clarifies the macroeconomic diagnostic through an examination of macroeconomic behaviours. Finally, it reports on the diversity of the enterprises that make up our productive fabric.
