The total non-response rate is 33.3%. Non-response was subject to two different treatments. Non-responding units in the exhaustive strata were imputed on the basis of the statistical results of the 2015 and 2016 R&D surveys of companies conducted by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation (MESRI-SIES), the results of the 2016 and 2017 Annual Production Surveys (INSEE), invoicing data from Chorus and customs declarations. For the rest, a reweighting was carried out.
