The sample for the Waste Generation and Management survey is drawn from a sampling frame constructed from the Statistical business register Sirus .
The sampling method is a simple stratified random sample. The stratification corresponds to the crossover between 13 sections (G to S) of NACE - Rev2 and 4 employee groups (1 to 9, 10 to 49, 50 to 199, 200 and over), with establishments with 200 or more employees being surveyed in an exhaustive way.
