Collected at the request of Eurostat to produce statistics on adult education (Adult Education Survey, AES), the training part of the survey is part of a European framework: it falls under the IESS framework regulation (2019/ 1700) as well as acts common to all household surveys. This overall framework for household surveys is supplemented by two acts specific to the AES (delegated act 2021/859 and implementing regulation 2021/861).
