The role of the users' committee is to take stock of the uses of BPE, to collect the needs of internal and external users of INSEE (Internet users, public actors, etc.), to describe and prioritize the expected developments.

It meets once a year. It is made up of representatives from INSEE, a representative from the National Federation of Urban Planning Agencies and a representative from the National agency for territorial cohesion.
