The confidentiality of the Homeless 2025 survey has been regulated by the CNIL since January 3, 2022 .

The production of this survey and its indicators may involve personal data whose processing, in the absence of adequate protection measures, may entail risks for the rights and freedoms of individuals. For this reason, this data is processed within a secure information system by authorized personnel.

The Homeless survey is therefore governed by the French law n+51-711 of June 7, 1951 on the obligation, coordination and secrecy of statistics, as well as by the European Statistics Code of Practice.

The purpose of the data processing is to describe the profiles and trajectories of homeless people, as well as their living conditions. Data from tests organized in 2022, 2023 and 2024 will be used to test the protocol and for methodological purposes, but will not be published.
