Sampling method
The survey is based on a sample of dwellings drawn spring 2014 in a frame 1 January
2013. The sampling frame considered is the sample OCTOPUSSE. As this covers only housing
of ordinary households, an additional sample is drawn into the directory of communities
(boarding schools, student hostels, hostels for young workers).
The survey covers approximately 5,000 young respondents : 4,000 in ordinary dwellings,
1000 in community. The section dedicated to parents represents about 6,000 responding
parents.

Sample of 8857 housings and 198 community housings
