Data are collected from september 2017 to january 2018. It’s a web survey, however companies had the possibility to answer on a paper questionnaire on demand.
The geographical reference area covers the whole of France: metropolitan France and overseas departments (DOM).

Sampling method

The sampling base is the Sirus register (Identification system for the Statistical Units in the Register).

The sample is stratified by business sector, size, unit type (independant firm or group), and by export turnover. All multinational groups are surveyed (about 2,000 units).

There are about 15,000 enterprises in the scope, 10,000 enterprises  are surveyed.
