Sampling method
To establish the sampling base, Insee leaned essentially on the demography files of
company (in the European standards) said "stocks of companies in January 1st", as
well as on the repertory of the Financial Links between Enterprises (LIFI) for the
groups.
The survey adopted a sampling plan stratified by the activity and the sub-population
(gazelles, the other enterprises with high-growth, the other enterprises).
The sample includes 12001 enterprises.
