The survey is conducted every two months (January, March, May, July, September, November, i.e. the odd months of the year).
Data collection is by post and via the internet from the end of the month preceding the survey month to the end of the survey month.

The survey covers 3,000 wholesalers.
All companies with more than 200 employees are questioned, and all those with a turnover of more than a certain threshold, depending on their sub-sector of activity.
