Définition
The hospital civil service includes public hospitals, public accommodation establishments for the elderly and other medico-social establishments: social assistance for children, disabled or maladjusted minors and adults, and social rehabilitation (Act No. 86-33 of 9 January 1986 constituting Title IV of the general statute). The number of hospital civil servants includes all staff working in these organisations, whether civil servants or not, including, in this sense, medical staff.
