Standard transfers without any consideration that general government or institutions of the European Union pay to resident producers in order to influence their levels of production, their prices or the remuneration of production factors.
A distinction is made between subsidies on products (D31), paid per unit of goods or service produced or imported, and other subsidies on production (D39).
