This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2012:

  • 01/01/2017 – Cloyes-sur-le-Loir devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Cloyes-les-Trois-Rivières (28103) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2017 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Cloyes-les-Trois-Rivières en lieu et place des communes d'Autheuil (28017), de Charray (28083), de Cloyes-sur-le-Loir (28103), de Douy (28133), de La Ferté-Villeneuil (28150), du Mée (28241), de Montigny-le-Gannelon (28262), de Romilly-sur-Aigre (28318) et de Saint-Hilaire-sur-Yerre (28340) devenues déléguées.
