This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2011:

  • 01/01/2016 – Marlens devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Val de Chaise (74167) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Val de Chaise en lieu et place des communes de Cons-Sainte-Colombe (74084) et de Marlens (74167) devenues déléguées.
