2023 winter tourist season Attendance in collective tourist accomodation came back to its pre-crisis level

Attendance in collective tourist accommodation during the 2023 winter tourist season came back to the 2019 season’s level. The increase in overnight stays by resident tourists was combined with a return of non-resident customers, particularly British ones, whose attendance had been strongly impacted by the Covid-19’s sanitary crisis. Mountain areas came back to their pre-crisis attendance levels, and urban areas mostly benefited from the rising in winter attendance.
