Producer prices rose at a record pace in 2022 but decelerated at the end of the year

On annual average, producer prices increased very strongly in 2022 in agriculture (+20.9%) and in industry (+23.2%). The rises were less pronounced but remained significant in construction (+7.9% for new buildings, +9.5% for old buildings) and services (+4.3%). Year-on-year, prices accelerated until the middle of the year before decelerating.
