  • 01/01/2016 – Arthon-en-Retz devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein de Chaumes-en-Retz (44005) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle de Chaumes-en-Retz en lieu et place des communes d'Arthon-en-Retz (44005) et de Chéméré (44040) devenues déléguées.
