This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2010:

  • 01/01/2016 – Voves devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein des Villages Vovéens (28422) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle des Villages Vovéens en lieu et place des communes de Montainville (28258), de Rouvray-Saint-Florentin (28320), de Villeneuve-Saint-Nicolas (28416) et de Voves (28422) devenues déléguées.
