This municipality has experienced contour changes since 2010:

  • 01/01/2016 – Auneau devient commune déléguée (chef-lieu) au sein d'Auneau-Bleury-Saint-Symphorien (28015) (commune nouvelle).
  • 01/01/2016 – Création de la commune nouvelle d'Auneau-Bleury-Saint-Symphorien en lieu et place des communes d'Auneau (28015) et de Bleury-Saint-Symphorien (28361) devenues déléguées.
