Overnight stays in hotels were down by 73% in June 2020 compared with June 2019. This drop comes after two very contrasting periods: a dynamic start to the year followed by the closure of a large proportion of hotels from mid-March to May during the lockdown. Île-de-France was more affected than the rest of the country, as were top-end hotels. In June 2020, 82% of hotels on the coast were open.
