Recent decrease in fertility in France: all ages and all standards of living are affected

Fertility in France has been decreasing slightly since 2015. This fall is widespread: all age groups are affected and not only a specific one. All standards of living are affected. The decline in fertility is affecting both women who haven't had a child yet and those who have already had children. There is no decrease in fertility for immigrants. Their fertility remains stable and their contribution to overall fertility remains at 0.1 child per woman.
