In 2015, the "made in France" represents 81% of final household consumption expenditure, but only 36% of manufactured goods. Final household consumption expenditure is more "made in France" than investment and exports. "Made in France" consumption is higher among older people and executives. The import content of the products consumed in France comes mainly from Germany (13.0%), the United States (8.0%), China (7.7%), the United Kingdom (6.7%), Spain (6.5%), Italy (6.2%) and Belgium (5.4%). The French "made in" fell back nearly two points between 2005 and 2015, remaining however close to that of its European neighbors.
