47.1 million voters present in April 2019 on the French electoral lists
In April 2019, 47.1 million people are registered on the French electoral rolls, including 1.3 million residing outside France and registered on a consular list. As a result of the 2000 baby boom, the number of young people automatically registered to vote increased sharply in 2018. On the national territory, 93% of French people of voting age are voters. The Portuguese are the most numerous foreigners registered on the supplementary lists of municipalities.
