Trade activity continue to improve in 2017. In wholesale trade, activity increased in most sectors and prices raised for the first time in five years. Retail sales increased in volume terms once again, but at a slightly slower pace than in 2016.
Distance selling improves and wins market shares. Motor trade sales increased. The recovery in new car sales observed since 2015, continued in 2017. Prices increased in the three main trade sectors, for the first time since 2012.
