Postponed recovery Conjoncture in France - October 2014

The French economy should barely grow in Q3 and Q4 (+0.1%), bringing growth over the year as a whole to +0.4% in 2014, as in 2012 and 2013. Growth in exports should admittedly be somewhat more sustained than in H1, thanks in particular to the recent fall in the value of the Euro, but without any real drive, as foreign demand remains sluggish. The factors preventing domestic demand from starting up again still remain.
