In November 2009, the consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.1%, as in October.
Monthly change: +0.1%;year–on–year: +0,4 %
In November 2009, the consumer price index (CPI) increased by 0.1%, as in October.
Adjusted for seasonal variations, the monthly change went up by +0.3%.
Year-on-year, prices grew (+0.4%), after six consecutive months of annual decreases.
The price index without tobacco increased by 0.1% (+0.3% year-on-year).
This small rise of the CPI in November results from various changes: the growth of the prices of oil products, the increase of the price of tobacco (+4.2%; +4.5% year-on-year) and seasonal weakening in transport services and services linked with the tourism industry. Prices of fresh products went up, while those of other foodstuffs dip slightly.
