J.M. Annequin, V. Guihard, C. Lesdos, C. Plateau et J. Robin

According to the first estimates for 2007, the value of the agricultural output has improved significantly, because of the leap in cereals prices. But this leap in prices has an effect on feedingstuffs and make the cattle breeders costs heavier. For the whole agricultural industry, agricultural income per labour unit in real terms is estimated to have increased by 9 % in 2007, after +9 % in 2006. Entrepreneurial income per non salaried labour unit in real terms is estimated to have increased by 12 % in 2007 after + 16 % in 2006. These two indicators agricultural income and entrepreneurial income had tend to decrease since 1999 and they have risen again in these two last years 2006 and 2007. The increase in 2007 is less important than in 2006 because of the rise in the input prices. But the main phenomenon is disparity between activities, since the improvement is concentrated on cereal farmers.
