In partnership with SDES, each year, INSEE carries out a synthesis and coherence work from several sources, to calculate the number of ordinary housing units on 1 January and to describe it according to the category of housing ( The type of housing (collective, individual), occupation status (or sector), and geographical area (by urban unit size).
