Rents and Charges Survey
The survey makes it possible to measure changes in rents on a quarterly basis and integrate them into the calculation of the consumer price index (CPI).
The Rents and Charges Survey has existed in the Paris conurbation since 1955 and throughout
the whole of the metropolitan territory since 1958.
The Rents and Charges Survey has been carried out on a quarterly basis since 1977.
The scope of the survey was extended to Guadeloupe at the end of 2010 and to Martinique,
Reunion Island and French Guiana in January 2019.
