Tourist flows in Reunion Island (survey with travelers from this airports of Roland Garros and Saint-Pierre Pierrefonds)
This survey allowed to have biannual and annual quantitative information on the tourists visiting the Reunion Island to follow the development of this sector mattering in the local economy.
It was a question of measuring the number of tourists who frequented Reunion Island but also to know their main characteristics as the nationality, the age, the socio-professional group, their geographical origin and to quantify their expenses to measure the economic effects of tourism.
A particular focus was also drawn to departures of the residents from Reunion Island.
Survey carried out annually since 1989 and stopped in 2016. It has not been replaced.
