Quarterly tendecy survey on public works
The objective of the quarterly business tendency survey in civil engineering is to
provide early information on the evolution of the sector's activity for the purpose
of short-term diagnosis and forecasting of the activity of entrepreneurs in the sector,
both at national and European level.
The purpose of the quarterly public works business survey is to record the opinion
of entrepreneurs in the sector on their recent activity and prospects. The entrepreneurs
interviewed give their opinion on their opinion on past and future activity, order
books, payment terms, past and future market price developments, future workforce
trends and factors limiting activity.
The survey was conducted for the first time in 1974.
