This survey aims to measure the level and growth of employment in local authorities and local public services.

The breakdown of these jobs by status (incumbents, non incumbents) and by employment framework is not available to the same level of exhaustiveness and accuracy in any other source.

This information is used by the General Directorate of Local Authorities (DGCL) of the Interior Ministry.

It is also used as a complement to other sources on employment in order to calculate employment levels and growth at different geographical levels.
