Survey of employment structures

The "Structure of Jobs" survey comes from the statistical exploitation, carried out since 1968, of a part of the annual declarations of employment of disabled workers, war maimed and similar persons made by establishments under the legislation of 1924,1957 and 1987 in favour of the disabled. The purpose of the survey is to provide a breakdown of the workforce by type of employment and sector of activity.

Institutions subject to legislation are:
- establishments with 20 or more employees in industry, commerce and services, and agriculture,
- semi-public establishments (SNCF, EDF, GDF, RATP, SEITA).

The following are excluded from the scope of the survey:
- State administration,
- local and regional authorities,
- public and administrative establishments (E.P.A.).
