A jobseeker may work while registered with France Travail and still be required to carry out positive acts of job search (categories B and C). They can they can receive both a part of their UI benefits and the wage from their new job, provided that it does not exceed their previous gross wage. UI benefits are then reduced by 70% of the new wage. These withheld benefits increase the duration of the entitlement by a number of days that is proportional to the amount of the daily benefit.
