Définition

This differential allowance is paid to elderly persons (65 years of age or older or having reached the minimum legal retirement age in the event of incapacity) with low resources, regardless of the number of quarters validated with pension schemes.

Since 1 January 2007, it has replaced the old minimum old-age benefits (first and second tier).
