Definition
The "Brevet d'études professionnelles" (BEP) is a former vocational certificate of upper-secondary education.
The reform of vocational secondary education begun in 2008 has led to the gradual disappearance of the BEP in favour of the vocational "Baccalauréat" in three years.
Side note
It is classified at level 3 in the national framework for professional qualifications and in the international standard one (ISCED-2011).
