The dwellings maintenance and improvement price index (IPEA) is a quarterly index that measures the changes in prices -without VAT- invoiced by firms for their maintenance and improvement works in existing dwellings during the quarter under review ; the included specialized construction activities involve the installation and supply of materials. The ICP-43BTR- Producer cost index in specialised construction in existing buildings (part of division 43) reflects the changes in costs borne by these same firms.
