Définition

The five-yearly law on work, employment and professional training (implemented on December 20th 1993) gave companies with more than 200 employees the option of establishing a Single Employee Delegation sitting on the works council and acting as employee delegates. In this case the head of the company decides that the employee delegates represent the employee delegation to the works council: the members of the Single Employee Delegation simultaneously hold the responsibilities of employee delegates and employee representatives to the works council.

Remarque

The 200 employee threshold is assessed in line with the procedures set out by the Labour Code.
