Définition

The full time equivalent employment rate is the ratio between the number of jobs converted into full-time and the total population. The number of people in full-time equivalent is obtained with the part-time rate recalculated in the Labour Force Survey : a person working half-time count for 0.5, or a personn working 80% count for 0.8... This indicator is interesting because it shows how heterogeneous of working hours, because for the ILO, an hour during the reference week is enough to be considered as in employment.
