Définition

Income available to households for consumption or investment, after redistribution operations. It includes all income from employment (wages including employers' legal contributions, mixed income of self-employed persons), income from property (interest, dividends, life insurance income, etc.) and income from estate (including rental income charged to households owning the housing they occupy). Cash social benefits received by households are mainly added and social contributions and taxes paid are deducted.
