Consumption of medical care and materials includes hospital care, outpatient services (doctors, dentists, medical nurses, analysis laboratories, spa treatment), health-related transportation, medications and other medical materials (optical, prostheses, small materials and bandages).
Only expenses arising from the treatment of a temporary disturbance in the patient's state of health are included. Therefore care expenses for disabled and elderly people in institutions are not included.
