Définition

Ambulatory care (or town care) is care provided in town surgeries, dispensaries, care centres, outpatient consultations in public or private hospitals, spa treatments and laboratory analysis. They are provided by doctors, dentists and medical auxiliaries (nurses, physiotherapists, speech therapists, orthoptists) as part of their self-employed activity.
