Définition
The list of sports "Hopefuls" includes sportspeople of at least twelve years of age in the year they are enrolled on the list. They must have sports skills acknowledged by the national technical director of the federation in question in a sports discipline recognised as being of a high level, but they do not yet fulfil the conditions required for inclusion on the list of high-level sportspeople.
The list of sports "Hopefuls" is drawn up for a year by the Sports Minister following a proposal by the National Technical Directors of the sports federations concerned.
