Définition

The Hague System gives the owner of an industrial design or model the possibility to have their design or model protected in several countries by making a single application in a single language to a single Office. This system is administered by the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) in Geneva, Switzerland.

An international registration produces the same effects as those of a registration made directly in each of the countries designated by the applicant, unless protection is refused by the competent Office of that country.
