Définition

The Future Contract is a contract intended for the beneficiaries of the statutory minimum: the Minimum Integration Income, Specific Solidarity Allowance, Single Parent Allowance, Disabled Adult Allowance. It is a fixed-term part-time employment contract (26 hours of work a week). The Future Contract is signed for a 2-year term, in principle. It may be renewed for up to 12 months, making a maximum term of 36 months (for beneficiaries over the age of 50 and persons recognised as being disabled workers, the renewal limit can be 36 months, making a total term of 5 years).

This contract is for employers in the non-market sector (territorial authorities and other corporate bodies under public law ; corporate bodies under private law responsible for managing a public service; associations ; and structures for integration by economic activity, particularly integration workshops and worksites).

The employer benefits from different types of aid :

  • a fixed-sum monthly aid paid by the State or the General Council (according to the type of statutory minimum received by the person employed) corresponding to the amount of the Minimum Integration Income allowance for a single person living alone ;
  • a monthly amount paid by the State and intended to cover a part of the wage cost borne by the employer ;
  • an exemption from social contributions, up to the amount of the minimum wage.

Remarque

The Future Contract and the Employment Support Contract replaced the Employment Solidarity Contract and the Consolidated Employment Contract from 1st May 2005.

As of 1st January 2010, the Employment Support Contract has been replaced by the Single Integration Contract for the Non-Market Sector (CUI-CAE).
