Définition

The Contract "d'orientation" was a non-renewable fixed-term employment contract, targeted for young people under 22 years of age with no qualification and based on the principle of work-study contract.

It was exempted from employer contributions. This contract replaced the "stage d'insertion dans la vie professionnelle" (SIVP).

Remarque

This type of contract has been replaced by a new type of contract named contract "de professionnalisation" (legal text published on 4 May 2004).
