The general equipment grant (DGE) was created by article 103 of the 2 March 1982 law. This payment essentially centred on aids for investment metts precise rules of eligibility. This payment is made every year by the State to municipalities, departments and their groupings and to the Ile-de-France region which benefits from a grant for high schools in new conurbations.
