Enterprise categories

This indicates the enterprise categories as defined by Decree 2008-1354 of the Law on the Modernisation of the Economy.

Four enterprise categories are defined for the purposes of statistical and economic analysis.

To determine the category to which a business belongs, the following items of information are used, pertaining to the most recent complete trading year and calculated on an annual basis: headcount, turnover and balance sheet total.
